“Understanding Nonprofit Financial Statements for Non-Financial Users”

Accurate, relevant, and timely financial information is key to making good decisions for nonprofit executives and board members. But, do all of your board members really understand the numbers they receive and what they mean to your organization? Board members come from different walks of life and different positions in the community. Some may have financial backgrounds, but many might not. It’s this latter point you need to keep in mind as you supply financial data.
In this session, Brady Ware will discuss the unique aspects of accounting and financial reporting for nonprofit organizations as well as various techniques to use in evaluating an organization’s financial performance.

Thursday, October 21st

10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Fees: Members – No Charge             Non-Members $20.00

Fulfill Your Organization’s Mission
In neighborhoods across the country, nonprofits play a critical role—now more than ever. Nonprofits bridge the gap between what communities need and what they can afford. They bring arts and culture to under-served regions and support education, economic development, health care, and trade.
Since our founding, Brady Ware has served the nonprofit community with passion and dedication. We understand the unique financial and operational challenges nonprofits face, and we know how to help you fulfill your mission. Many of our partners and managers serve on nonprofit boards, and this commitment helps us anticipate your needs and strengthen your services.
