How to Approach the Unapproachable

‘I don’t know how to say this, but…” – Stuck on how to broach a performance gap, a safety protocol breach, or (shudder) even a hygiene issue? There are ways to turn what could be conversational minefields into an opportunity for mutual problem-solving. Join us to practice techniques that help both you and the other person approach difficult topics with more groundedness and grace.

Learning objectives include:

  • Learn the language that triggers defensiveness
  • Practice a simple infrastructure for effective feedback
  • Craft requests and potential solutions that create a path to accountability
