Program Director, Pro Bono Counseling Program - Mental Health America of Franklin County

Mental Health America of Franklin County is Central Ohio’s guide for people needing help navigating the mental health system.

Mental Health America of Franklin County is seeking a licensed mental health professional to develop and lead our innovative new program. This person will be
responsible for the administration of our Pro Bono Counseling Program, which links licensed mental health professionals to people who need but cannot afford mental health counseling. Responsibilities include client screening and linkages, information and referral, recruiting and recognizing volunteer clinicians, identification of resources for program development and expansion, identification of community counseling sites, database usage, supervising graduate students, and the full program evaluation. The program will begin expansion to other counties in mid-2012.

The position will require some travel around Ohio. There will be occasional weekend and evening hours.

We are looking for someone with clinical assessment and administrative skills. Prior volunteer recruitment experience is helpful. Prior experience with Macintosh computers and Filemaker database is also preferred.

This person will need a valid driver’s license and a valid mental health professional license (LSW, PCC or equivalent, PhD in Psychology).
