Our nonprofit client, Environmental Health Watch (EHW) is tasked with
helping NE Ohio policy-makers and the public address the critical health
concerns related to our urban and industrial environment. Some of those
environmental concerns include asthma, lead poisoning, green housing,
energy, home repair and air pollution, among others. A new Executive
Director is being sought to replace the retiring Director who’s led this
organization for the past 25 years.
The right candidate will have exceptional writing skills for applying
for grants and developing proposals. He or she will have the ability to
raise funds, identify revenue sources and interact with other agencies
for partnering. Understanding the financials and making financial
decisions are critical aspects of this role. The organization needs a
strong leader and someone with a passion for making the environment
better through education and advocacy.
